Reds too much for casual Spurs
Match points: This match ended up like so many other Tottenham matches since they qualified for the Uefa Cup after winning the Carling Cup back in February: a casual approach and little attacking endeavour.
Liverpool, also with little to play for on the last day of the season, controlled most of the match and were the only team seriously threatening their opponent's goal.
Andriy Voronin slotted home from close range after a Fernando Torres flick, before the Spaniard left Michael Dawson for dead and prodded past Radek Cerny. Steven Gerrard, Torres and Yossi Benayoun had several more attempts as the Reds ran out comfortable winners.
